London – Journey Mentor, a travel-tech company providing disruptive solutions to the travel ecosystem, is pleased to announce the appointment of travel industry expert Kholoud Abulkheir as its Global Director for Sales and Marketing. Kholoud brings almost 20 years’ experience to the Company, having held various senior positions in the travel industry.
In her role as Global Director of Sales and Marketing, Kholoud will be working closely with the rest of the commercial team in the delivery of its services to expand Journey Mentor’s customer base, accelerate sales, and elevate the company’s presence within the travel industry.

Prior to joining Journey Mentor, Kholoud served as Head of Aviation Solutions at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for almost a decade. Whilst in the position, she led a team of Aviation Solutions Managers covering over 70 countries in the Middle East and Africa. The portfolio included commercial applications for passenger, cargo and airport data intelligence services, consulting, training, publishing, strategic partnerships, and financial settlement services. She also acted as regional and area head for all topics related to IATA Marketing and Commercial Services (MACS) between the IATA and various high-level aviation industry stakeholders and officials.
Other senior positions included serving as Director for Strategic Development and Communications at Airport International Group (AIG), a Jordanian consortium of regional and international aviation pioneers with a long track record of airport construction, management and operational experience. She was also responsible for new business development at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), including air service and route development. As such, she played a key role in the continued success and expansion of the airport, alongside AIG’s airline partners and tourism stakeholders.
