Journey Mentor becomes leading technology supplier to the travel industry in Bangladesh following this second landmark deal
London / Cyprus – Journey Mentor, the leading travel-tech SaaS company that has created proprietary easy-to-use solutions to solve the travel industry’s challenges, announces that it has been awarded a five-year contract by Time Travel BD (“Time Travel”), an innovative travel agency providing a full range of services for both domestic and international travellers in Bangladesh.
Under the terms of the agreement, Journey Mentor’s advanced travel technology solutions will be integrated into Time Travel’s IT infrastructure to transform the way they organise travel planning, booking, and loyalty management for the benefit of their customers.
Specifically, Journey Mentor will be providing Time Travel with its flagship e-commerce solution SalesMentor designed to overcome digitalisation challenges faced by travel agencies. It is an all-encompassing travel management platform tailored for agents and their customers to bring together multiple travel components (air, hotel, cars and much more) in one search and transaction. Complementing this is, Journey Mentor will also be integrating its product LoyaltyMentor, a sophisticated loyalty scheme management system in managing loyalty points as well as promotional activities over the whole travel experience (not just flights).
Time Travel offers a full range of travel solutions, including bookings for flights, hotels, visas, and transport services, via holiday packages, Umrah and Hajj, corporate travel arrangements and group tours, tailored for both domestic and international travellers. The travel market in Bangladesh has recovered from the Covid-19 pandemic and is now rapidly expanding. Monthly international passengers travel almost reached 800,000 in 2023, up from less than 500,000 passengers in 2019. Similarly, domestic air travel witnessed a surge in the last five years with rising income levels. Monthly domestic air passenger travel reached 170,000 this year, up from less than 100,000 in 2019.
